Our Teaching Staff

Blake Nunn


At TMA since 2017

Blake Nunn combines his great love of music and drumming with an extensive background in education with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-

Milwaukee. His teaching methods accommodate various learning

styles, levels and ages. He has had great success teaching students with disabilities, as well as with pre-professional older children and adults. He has studied drum kit with Tim McMahon, Mike August

and Russell Bizzett, and hand drumming with Omar Moore of San Diego State University. As a player he performs rock, gospel andfunk, and is currently studying jazz and world music with Russell.

Sarah Radosovic

Piano, Guitar, Ukulele 

At TMA since 2017

Growing up in England , Sarah started playing jazz piano under the

instruction of her father . At aged 9 she started studying classical piano

and fell in love with both the theory and practical side of music . Getting

her degree in music & music theory opened many doors in teaching and

performing throughout her career. Sarah has over 20 years of teaching experience in both the U.K and USA 

Billy Tsounis

Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Banjo, Mandolin

At TMA since 2008

Billy Tsounis is a Berklee College of Music graduate with over 30 years experience performing and 20 years teaching .

He has toured throughout the USA, placed his original compositions on the MTV, CBS networks and has recorded for various independent and major label releases.

Guitar styles that he teaches are rock/ pop/ metal/ /funk/ blues/classical and world rhythms.

Russell Bizzett


At TMA since 2012

Drummer Russell Bizzett was born in Sioux City before moving to San Diego. He already had a long and storied career, having rose to prominence the mid-1970s, when he toured and recorded with rock music legend Tommy Bolin, (Deep Purple, James Gang), as well as Jose Feliciano, Louisa West with Jimmy Patton and Friends, and others.

Along the way, he studied with the legendary jazz drummers Roy Haynes and Billy Higgins. In 2011,he released a full-length, Dream Street. Russell has been teaching for over 30 years and has a great rapport with his students.

Meredith Milton

Voice, Piano

At TMA since 2020

Meredith Milton has performed throughout her lifetime starting in childhood with dance recitals and musicals and continuing in college where she performed regularly in multiple choirs as well as solo for her music degree. She received her B.A. in Vocal Performance from California Baptist University in 2018. Once leaving college, she began teaching voice and piano while performing with Independent Opera Company in Los Angeles.

Her teaching style stems from classical training received in college and the vocal training she has experienced throughout her life. She loves teaching in fun and interactive ways that encourage musical growth in her students. 


Violin, Piano, Ukulele

At TMA since 2020 

Pei-Ying is originally from Taiwan and has been playing piano/violin since age 4. She has 3 graduate degrees in music from both the New England Conservatory in Boston and Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan and has taught all ages and skill levels. She has taught privately as well as in schools from middle school to college and has been teaching for over 15 years. She has also been coaching students for 7 years, accompanying and collaborating with other instruments to help them prepare for their performances, such as juries, concerts, competitions and school's auditions. Pei-Ying has travelled across the world for music festivals under scholarship and apprenticeship offerings, such as the Franz-Schubert-Institute (Austria), Vancouver International Song Institute (Canada), Vancouver Opera Studio (Canada) and Mountain View International Festival of Song and Chamber Music (Canada) as well as in Taiwan and across the United States.

Cory Radosovic

Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele

At TMA since 2018

Cory has a Masters in Education so being a school teacher gives him patience and a methodical approach to learning . His background is in Jazz , Blues and Rock and brings to life all genres of music that inspires his students 

Having played and performed with bands on the East and West coast as well as years of experience performing in theater, Cory was musical director for a Tong Winning Broadway Tap Dancer on the East Coast and has been technical director for numerous productions but teaching music is truly what inspires him today

Kate Russell

Voice, Piano, Drums, Guitar

At TMA since 2017

Kate Russell grew up in Australia and became inspired by country music.

After completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music at Berklee College of Music, Boston and The University of North Texas respectively, she spent years in Nashville in forging new ground by blending musical styles.

Kate was fortunate enough to be able to record and interact with some of the greatest musicians, producers, engineers and business partners to form strategic alliances that continue to this day.

Kate Russell has had chart singles on Billboard, Music Row and in Europe.
